Let’s get outside together.
Our Services & Partners
2B-RAD is a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status. Through collaboration with like-minded organizations we help individuals and families manage hardships through the healing power of nature.
To accomplish this purpose, 2B-RAD partners with organizations who are also working in these areas.
Each year 2B-RAD Hike-A-Thon gets hundreds of people connecting out in nature and also partners with organizations that support connection to the environment, educational opportunities that focus on caring for nature and investing in a relationship with nature, while also uplifting those struggling by connecting them with inner resources, community and the outdoors.
100% of net proceeds go to providing programs, scholarships and subsidized services for a variety of communities, including:
Resilience building and outdoor activities for youth impacted by health challenges
Mental well-being and nature based practices that uplift individuals struggling with hardships
Protecting public use of greenspaces and access to nature’s beauty
Outdoor safety education, alongside search and rescue to keep our communities equipped in exploring the outdoors
By supporting or sponsoring this year’s 2B-RAD Hike-A-Thon, you’ll be contributing directly to programs that uplift youth and communities to have a direct connection to nature and impact on their well-being while simultaneously amplifying your brand to our engaged community.
In addition to helping hundreds of folks explore nature, we uplift partner organizations that support individuals and families to safely connect with and protect nature. Last year, we partnered with Diabetes Youth Foundation, San Diego Mountain Rescue and Mount Helix Foundation.
Check out our Event page for more about this year’s hike-a-thon and see below for an update on the current and past partner organizations.
We align with partners that help forward the values and legacy of Brad Humphrey, who was an avid outdoorsman, father, friend, local San Diegan and our inspiration for Hike 2B-RAD.

And second, meaningful connections with supportive peers and mentors who believe in their potential.
Through partnerships with 40+ schools and social service agencies, Outdoor Outreach provides adventure-based positive youth development programming for youth ages 9-24 whose communities have been historically impacted by social inequities.
